We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of independent advocates:<\/p>\n
Independent Advocate \u2013 Pembrokeshire Community Mental Health Advocacy Service \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n 1 x 37 hour per week advocate post, or 2 x 3 days (22.5 hours per week), working with people of all ages in Pembrokeshire seeking advocacy to support them in accessing mental health services and other related services. Will include dedicated 1:1 working and drop-in advocacy sessions through the area. Hybrid working home\/office\/with the person in a variety of venues. Full training provided. Established long term funding.<\/p>\n Pay: starting at \u00a326,904 (unqualified advocate), starting at \u00a329,423 (advocate qualified with the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Qualification or equivalent legacy qualification).<\/p>\n Advocacy West Wales-Eiriolaeth Gorllewin Cymru is a leading provider of independent advocacy in West Wales.<\/p>\n If you: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Have excellent communication, telephone, organisational and IT skills, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Demonstrate an empathic and non-judgmental approach to working with the people you support. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Are either a bilingual Welsh and English speaker, or willing to develop your Welsh language skills. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Have a strong commitment to and understanding of issues of social justice, human rights, equality and inclusion, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Enjoy working as part of a team and engaging with a wide range of people, both professionals and clients of the service, <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Are committed to undertaking the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Qualification. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You may have the skills required for this role. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n For full job descriptions and application pack please contact admin@advocacywestwales.org.uk<\/a> \u00a0<\/p>\n
